| Canouan featured in sports Illustrated Raffles Resort located on Canouan is the featured location on the cover of the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. According to this country’s USA and Canada PR and Advertising agency Spring O’Brien and Co. Inc. ‘this is a wonderful exposure for SVG’. The agency states that the cover of the magazine was unveiled by the late night talk show host David letterman last night (February 10th 2009), when he pulled the curtain on a new billboard in Times Square; bringing more attention to the magazine and by extension St. Vincent and the Grenadines. According to Spring O’Brien, ‘the highly anticipated swimsuit issue reaches 66 million readers and it also has a worldwide audience with 26 international editions’.

| SVGTA Hosts Visiting Journalists and Travel Agents St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be showcased to the Canadian public in the upcoming months as a result of two recent visits. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA) through its Toronto Tourist Office hosted a four-member team from the Shopping Channel as well as a representative from the SVGTA’s PR and Advertising Agency during the period January 25th -30th for a production shoot.
